Terms of Service

By installing or using ShipBar ("the App"), you ("Merchant") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.

These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and ShipBar. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.

ShipBar is a Shopify application that displays a free shipping progress bar on your storefront. The App shows customers how close they are to qualifying for free shipping, with the goal of increasing average order value.

The App is provided as-is and we make no guarantees about sales performance or revenue outcomes.

• You must have a valid and active Shopify store.
• You must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to enter contracts.
• Use of the App is subject to Shopify's own Terms of Service.

ShipBar offers the following plans:

• Starter (Free) — free forever with limited features.
• Basic ($6.99/month) — includes a 7-day free trial, billed monthly through Shopify's billing API.
• Pro ($9.99/month) — coming soon.

All billing is handled by Shopify. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize Shopify to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from within the App. Access to paid features will continue until the end of the current billing period.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.

Paid plans include a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be billed. After the trial, you will be automatically charged unless you cancel.

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of Shopify's terms.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or create derivative works from the App.
• Use the App to mislead customers with false shipping thresholds.
• Resell, sublicense, or otherwise transfer access to the App.

All code, design, trademarks, and content of ShipBar are the exclusive property of ShipBar. Installing the App grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it for your store only.

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will meet your specific requirements.

We are not responsible for any lost sales, revenue, or data arising from the use or inability to use the App.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ShipBar's total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid to ShipBar in the three months preceding the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

You may terminate your use of the App at any time by uninstalling it from your Shopify store.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App immediately if you violate these Terms or if required by Shopify's policies.

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, and if unresolved, through binding arbitration.
